Refine Epic and break it down into User Stories from (DC Version):

To refine an Epic with Benefit Hypothesis and Acceptance criteria or to break down an Epic into user stories, follow these steps:

  2. Click on the ‘More’ menu to access the menu list.

  3. Select the "Generate" option.

A confirmation dialog box will appear, allowing you to choose either one or both options (Generate User Story or Update Epic). Depending on your selection, the system will generate user stories and/or update the Epic. This includes adding epic statements, benefit hypotheses, and acceptance criteria for the Epic. The process utilizes information from the Epic's title and description. Please note that any additional fields designated for requirements will not be considered. Therefore, ensure that all requirements are entered in the description field.

After clicking "Generate," it may take 1-2 minutes, depending on the scope of the requirements and the number of user stories to be generated. Once the dialog box closes, please refresh the Epic page, and you will find the Epic updated and all the user stories created with their titles, properly formatted user story content, and acceptance criteria.
