To refine user story with Acceptance criteria or to generate test cases based on existing user stories and acceptance criteria, follow these steps:
Navigate to the user story details page.
Click on the ‘More’ menu to access the menu list.
Choose the "Generate" option.
A confirmation dialog box will appear, offering the choice of either updating the user story or generating test cases. Depending on the selected option, it will either update the user story with the user story format, acceptance criteria, and test scenario, or generate test cases of issue type "Test Case." Each test case will include a title, detailed test steps, and outlined test automation scripts.
Similar to the Epic scenario, only the title and description of the user story will be considered as requirements. Enter all requirements in the description field, even if there are additional fields dedicated to acceptance criteria.
Upon clicking "Generate," the process may take 1-2 minutes, depending on the extent of the requirements. After the dialog box closed, please refresh the user story page to see the updated user story and the list of generated test cases.
